As an export company, we seek to supply the best quality options for Nepalese products with optimized pricing and logistic solutions to the whole world. We aim to cater to global B2B and B2C clients and trade via a technology-based, state-of-the-art trading portal, www.gozephyr.com, to connect well-researched premium Nepalese products with potential consumers worldwide. Our business aims to provide simplified trading solutions to evade the traditional complexities of the supply and demand chain while importing from Nepal. 

Our business model is based on modern international trading practices, as we seek to export authentic Nepalese products directly sourced from their origin and introduce fine craftsmanship, traditional recipes, and practical significance to the rest of the world. 

Our collaborations span from commercial manufacturers and genuine artisans to Himalayan farmers, small family-owned ventures, and various SMEs that have refined their production expertise over generations.

Our Journey

2015 - 2016
Explored different remote communities of Nepal, ranging from cities to the Himalayas. Met with farmers and manufacturers of diverse products to understand their product scope and problems. Subsequently planned an export-based business model. Further, visited international markets and buyers in the USA, Thailand, Singapore, and China to understand the market and demand.
2015 - 2016
2017
Established Zephyr International company and attained export licensing along with other international trade certifications and documentation. Introduced the company’s vision to key stakeholders. Explored potential export markets by initiating the marketing of Yak milk dog chews and connecting with buyers from Singapore, Thailand, the USA, and Canada.

2018
Succeeded in creating new markets and export of Yak milk dog chews in Singapore, Thailand, the USA, and Canada. Attended international pet exhibitions in Russia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

2019
Growth in export volume and an increase in the database of potential export products. Through visits and online communication, we gathered more and more connections with B2B and B2C clients from around the globe.

2020
Registered in the EU-REX system to obtain Generalized Scheme Preferences (GSP) benefits in selected countries of the European Union (EU). Additionally, Zephyr International was officially recognized as a member of the Export Council of Nepal (ECON).

2021 - 2023
Conducted research in numerous countries regarding demands and trading practices for Nepalese products. Frequent interactions and meetings with the policy-level stakeholders, peers, exporters, and cargo companies. Statistical data study of the past decade's export graphics in Nepal. Conceived the idea of creating an online trade portal www.gozephyr.com to promote and export Nepalese products systematically. Also, attended Asia’s largest pet exhibition in China to connect with buyers from all over the world.
2021 - 2023
2024
Received a grant from USAID to establish a Yak milk dog chew factory in Ilam. Establish a collaboration with the GeoKrishi initiative of Pathways Technology and Services to alleviate farming practices using technology and communication tools.
2024
2025
Established Yak milk dog chews in Illam with ready-to-ship product facilities. Also, trained staff regarding private labeling and international packaging norms. Continued with identifying new markets for dog chews. Move ahead with the development of the Nepalese product's export trade portal www.gozephyr.com.
